The Magic Flute

Blind Summit cast and directed 12 puppeteers operating 3 giant dinosaur birds with lip-synching-puppet riders to play the Drei Damen, and 2 Hoopoe bird-buddies of Papageno, for this production of The Magic Flute on the world famous lake stage at the Bregenz Festival. Totally bonkers, brilliant and beautiful!

Mozart's most popular opera, this spectacular performance, directed by David Poutney, had stunt performers, fire breathing dragons and giant bird puppets.
