The Law Of Gravity
The Law Of Gravity
Blind Summit and Scottish Ensemble
The Law of Gravity states that every object in the unvierse is attracted to every other object...
Musical notes float off music stands, cardboard shapes dance, a life sized, 3 person operated, ballet-dancer-spaceman puppet glides through space, as night transistions to dawn to the music of Schoenberg’s Transfigured Night, and Philip Glass's 3rd Symphony.
Surrounded by Scottish Ensemble's mesmerising sextet who also move around the space, darkly lit by their ipad music stands, the puppeteers of Blind Summit create a meditative world of musical wonder.

“The delicate spaceman was manoeuvred by three puppeteers using Japanese Bunraku style to create beautiful balletic movements that were exquisite and strangely seductive.”

“Spell-binding, sublime performance”
★★★★★ North West End UK
"Puppets, like elves, need the floor only in order to skim it, so as to give new vigour to their limbs by its momentary resistance; we need the floor to rest on and recover from the strain of the dance; an instant that itself is clearly not dance and with which there is nothing more to do than to have it, as far as possible, disappear."
