Nick first made his remarkably realistic puppets after returning from a journey thorugh China in 1997. He formed Blind Summit to find a way of using them in the theatre.

PUPPETRY: Nick's interest in puppetry began by designing and co-producing a humanette production of Ubu! at Hull University and The Pleasance Theatre in the Edinburgh Festival. He has performed and made puppets with DNA, BAC, Circus Space and The London International Mime Festival. For Television he was production designer on Gilbert and Sullivan - The Very Models for Channel Four animation.
