"PANACEA SUPERSPA" is a radical exhibition by contemporary artists Neil Bromwich, Michael Pinsky and Zoe Walker, which proposes prototypes of artworks that are beneficial to health. These prototypes will be tested for safety and efficacy in scientific trials based on methods used in drug development by the pharamaceutical industry. The results will be presented in a series of lectures given by puppet scientist Professor John Hilary.

BIOGRAPHY:
Professor John Hiliary,
B.S.T.P. studied Classics at Magdelene College, Oxford, and spent 4 years teaching in Grammar School in Leicester, before returning to university to retrain as a doctor at University College London.

He worked for 5 years in Paediatrics and distinguished himself in the field winning the gold medal for surgery.

In a further change of direction he then returned to academic life and did a Phd at Cambridge in Biomedical Science and Genetical Ethics. He wrote the seminal text on approaches to the assessment of scientific processes. He spent four years working in the pharmaceutical industry, inventing several formulae and statistical methods and revolutionising the way they think.

After working for 10 years in the ministry of Health as chief advisor to the Government, he became a Euro MP in Brussels. He edits the Journal of Scientific Discovery.and is a member of the RAC club. He was awarded the OBE in 2003.

His hobbies include fishing and beekeeping and every Saturday morning he sells his honey at Borough Market in London . He lives in Wiltshire.
