Just back from 2 weeks workshopping with the puppets in New York. We have a brilliant three man cat team and he's working well. Peter Castaldi - One of the singers who is playing the king - has jumped into his human marionette puppet with enthusiasm and he is going to be hilarious. The rabbits are stealing the show as they did in Dark Materials (actually a hare) and in 1984. Back in London Nick is building an 8 foot high Ogre that will be operated by 5 puppeteers and transforms into lion then a parrot then a... well that would be giving it away!
